Operation Smile

Operation Smile is a global medical charity helping to improve the health and lives of children in more than 60 countries. We’ve provided more than 300,000 children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate

and other facial differences with free life-changing surgical procedures and dental care. We train doctors and local medical professionals, donate medical equipment and supplies and provide year-round medical treatments through a network of comprehensive care centres. Operation Smile Canada was established in 2011 and became a registered charity in 2012.

Maddison helped raise a total of $118,357 in 2015 while participating in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant.

Covenant House

As many as 40,000 young people experience homelessness in Canada every year, and hundreds of youth are being trafficked. These issues deeply affect and shape young lives, and often transcend background, income or gender. The Covenant House strives to prevent homelessness and sex trafficking by sharing knowledge, raising awareness and reconnecting youth with their fam-ilies and social networks.

In 2020, Maddison participated in the “Sleep Out” that helped raise over $560,000.00.
