“I have had the honour of knowing Maddison since 2014. We were first introduced when she competed for the Southwestern Ontario Preliminary competition for Miss Universe Canada. She was one of the few contestants who had over an hour drive to practice on a weekly schedule and she was consistently on time, prepared, and engaged.
During the time of her competition days, I got to know Maddison as extremely hard working, honest, punctual, reliable, and kind. She not only cared about being the best version of herself, she cared about those around her also. Her ability to tune into others, and always willing to lend a hand made it an easy transition for her to go from competitor to mentor. She continues to be there to assist other contestants with their training, questions, concerns, which I know translates into all aspects of her career also.
